Fox Racing Canada Presents Behind The Lens: Round 8- Walton Raceway

Well, folks, that is it for the 2024 Triple Crown Series. It wrapped up on Sunday at Walton Raceway. Both the 250 Pro/AM and 450 Series came down to the final moto in one of the most exciting conclusions we’ve ever witnessed in Canada. In the end, the KTM duo of Kaven Benoit and Jess Pettis took home their respective Championships. For Benoit, this was his third 250 title, and for Pettis, this was his first-ever 450 class title. Congratulations to both riders and all of the Triple Crown Series riders on a great summer. Parting is such sweet sorrow, but let’s do it right with more incredible photos from James Lissimore.

The Walton Raceway track was in great shape for the final round of the Triple Crown Series.

After announcing her retirement from racing, Eve Brodeur did an honourary lap before the 250 moto.

The final round had good weather, bouncy castles, and Tyler Medaglia.

Coming into Round 8 ten points down to his teammate, Natzke knew had to win.

Brett Lee wasn’t just a great host all week, but he also did a great job announcing on the podium!

The crowds were massive at the final round at Walton Raceway.

The afternoon kicked off with the opening 250 Pro/Am moto.

One podium finish and 6th OA in the 250 Series was not what Quinn Amyotte was looking for in 2024.

It was great to see Musquin back on the race track.

After a good first half of the series, Racine struggled after injuring his foot at SDL.

Drew Adams did everything he could to win the 250 title, but in the end he came up just two points short.

Even though he didn’t win the 250 title, it was great having Adams in Canada all summer long.

After missing a round due to injury, Benek was one of the most impressive riders in the 450 class.

Kaven Benoit rode incredible in both motos on Sunday to clinch his third 250 Championship.

Blake Davies rode the 450 class on Sunday but unfortunately crashed hard in moto one.

Parker Eales had a solid 450 series and finished up with an impressive 6th OA.

USA Orange Brigade rode the final five rounds of the 250 series and was a top ten rider.

Russia native Alex Federtsov rode well all week at Walton and finished 4th OA on Sunday.

Jess Pettis and Kaven Benoit were flying high at the end of the day.

Gage Linville had a solid 250 Series winning one round and finishing 3rd OA.

Adrien Malaval only raced two rounds but he finished top five in both of those races.

Josiah Natzke won the opening moto but after a bad start in moto two, he ended up 5th.

Jess Pettis needed a solid two final two motos to clinch his first 450 title. He did just that at Walton.

Jess P:ettis is now your 2024 450 Triple Crown Series Champion!

The Walton stage was the place to be for celebrating all week long.

Along with Benoit and Kerr, Dylan Rempel was the most impressive Canadian riders in the 250 class this summer.

Aaron Tanti rode well this summer, but I was expecting more in the second half of the 450 series.

Noah Viney travelled all the way from California to race the final. He ended up 14th OA.

Dylan Walsh showed signs of speed on Sunday and ended up 6th OA in the 250 class.

Tanner Ward had an up and down summer in the 450 class and rumour has it he’s switching teams for 2025.

Dylan Wright proved that he is back and good to go for Team Canada.

Congratulations to the entire KTM Canada Team on their impressive summer!
