Atlas Factory Rider Program Update
December 18th 2013 – Vancouver, BC
With two rounds completed in the Future West Canadian Arenacross Championship the battle for the Atlas Factory Rider program has been nothing but exciting. Round one showed young Jess Pettis dominate the field in both 250 Intermediate and Open Intermediate classes. Unfortunately a crash at round two has side lined young Pettis with two broken legs. First year Intermediate rider Wyatt Waddell has picked up where Jess left off and has proven to be the guy to beat. There are still four rounds left in the series and names Riley Heinrichs, Bryce Vandenbrink and Brandon Baines have their eyes set on the top step of the podium.
“ I’m really stoked to leading the Atlas Factory Rider Program because the Atlas is by far the best brace out there and I want to be part of the Atlas family for years to come – Wyatt Waddell “
The top three Intermediate riders with the highest points total combined in both 250 Intermediate and Open Intermediate will be awarded the Factory Rider Sponsorship.
Points combined after two rounds
* Wyatt Waddell 180 (Currently wears Atlas)
* Riley Heinrichs 151 (Currently wears Atlas)
* Bryce Vandenbrink 143 (Currently wears Atlas)
* Brandon Baines 112 (Currently wears Atlas)
* Kyle Maskall 90 (Currently wears Atlas)
Stay tuned for updates in the New Year as the series unfolds
