Not only did this past weekend mark the final round of the 2015 Rockstar Energy Drink MX Nationals. We also saw Walton Raceway host the top amateur racers in the Country as the 2015 Parts Canada TransCan took place on one of the most famous tracks in Canada. As he’s been all summer, James Lissimore was there all week enduring the elements to bring you this weeks Behind the Lens.

There is no caption needed for this photo of Walton Raceway moto heaven. Barry and his crew did an awesome job as the track was in great shape all week.

Jake Tricco had a great week on the track at the TransCan as he took home the 85 12-16 Championship. Well done JT!

This kid just keeps on getting better and better every time he rides. Next to Joey Crown, Marco Cannella was the fastest rider at the TransCan and he proved it by taking home the Yamaha Factory Ride Award.

Ryan Lockhart won both the +25 and Vet Master titles this year and almost holeshotted all six of his motos…almost being the key word.

Fresh off her dominate CMRC East Women’s Championship, Eve Brodeur continued her winning ways by taking home the Ladies Class win at the TransCan.

After breaking his leg earlier this season, Orange Brigade rider Tanner Ward recovered nicely this summer to win the CMRC East Supermini Championship as well as the this weeks Supermini Championship.

East Coast rider Damon Burbine is the real deal as he not only won the 65 10-11 class, but he had to recover from a late final moto crash to get enough points to finish his title off in style.

Here Ryan Lockhart leads Jason Burke on route to winning the +25 class at the TransCan. The Newf easily had everyone covered in the two classes he raced last week.

As it does every year, Saturday nights fireworks show marked the end of another incredible Parts Canada TransCan.

Last week Joey Crown did the unthinkable at Walton Raceway. During the week he took home two TransCan titles, and then moved up to the MX2 class on Sunday and won the second moto.

Colton Facciotti did everything he could to close up the 13 point gap on Matt Goerke and try and win the 2015 MX1 title. After twenty long motos, Colton came up just six points short.

After a few lackluster rounds, Jimmy Decotis came out swinging in Walton and won the first MX2 moto. He also would take home second overall in the MX2 point standings for the year.

Right from the start of the final moto of the year, all the big boys were front and centre trying to make their last moto their best.
