Boarder X Legend Jayson Hale Joins FXR For Latest Adventure

Winnipeg, Man. January 14, 2014 – FXR is proud to introduce Jayson Hale as our first
snowboard athlete. Jayson is a true pioneer in the sport of Boarder X, who has
always marched to the beat of his own drum.

 
An original member of the US Snowboard Cross team in 2003, Hale has
represented his country on the global stage for over 10 years, participating in the
2006 Olympic Games and collecting medals from World Cup and X Games events
along the way. Having retired from the US National team in 2013 and no longer
obligated to wear the red, white and blue, Hale sought out FXR for outerwear that
best reflected his lifestyle as a free spirit who loves to go big in the great
outdoors.

Hale and friends recently completed a YouTube web series titled Earth’s
Playground, in which they road-trip through Alaska, livinging in a canvas tent
while competing in the Tailgate Alaska World Free-Ride Championships and Arctic
Man race.

 
Next week Jayson will be making history with FXR on his back as he becomes the
first snowboader to ever compete in camo. The defending SBX bronze medalist will be in pursuit of his first WXG gold.
