CMRC SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO MX PROGRAM SOON TO BE ANNOUNCED

Amazing details will be announced shortly for what is shaping up to be the best season of CMRC sanctioned motocross racing in Southwestern Ontario. A full statement and schedule will be released the first week of January that will showcase an unprecedented amount of prizes, a NEW CMRC lottery for bike giveaways, and a full calendar comprising of popular tracks in the region.

CMRC will maintain its unwavering professional integrity and not release details until they are completely finalized, but they are very close. Racing for all motocross and ATV classes will experience unsurpassed incentive plans since racing began in Ontario.

“It has not been my position since 1999 to manage the marketing, promotions and sponsorship for this region, but this year will be different. I am determined to put all efforts necessary towards making the 2016 season in Southwestern Ontario a year that no one will forget,” states CMRC President, Mark Stallybrass. “Final touches are being made on a schedule that will highlight hosted venues that you are all familiar with – Gopher Dunes, Motopark, RJ Motosport Park, Paisley RAT Track and Gully Mor. I consider 2016 the year when nationally sanctioned racing in SWO will return to the status and glory it once staged. Just wait to see what’s in store.”

With over a decade of experience working races for CMRC in Southwestern Ontario, Dawna Stephens will be at the helm directing the region for event execution and administration. Dawna is working closely with CMRC to improve upon past efforts, and is motivated more than ever to take the program forward.

2016 will be CMRC’s 27th year of sanctioned motocross races in Southwestern Ontario and it is looking forward to this year with great eagerness and excitement. Once again, specifics such as sponsors and lottery guidelines will be released when they are concrete, but keep watch for the press releases as there are many details to come.

As a reminder, it is time to renew your CMRC license for next year’s racing season. The deadline to retain your previous year’s number is December 30, 2015 so please do not put off renewing your license if you wish to retain your existing racing number. Additionally, CMRC will have a booth at North America’s biggest motorcycle consumer show, The Toronto Motorcycle Supershow, January 8-10, 2016, at The International Centre, Airport Road, Mississauga. Dawna and Wendy Snelgrove, CMRC’s Eastern Canadian License Director, will be on hand to answer your questions and distribute the schedule. You will also be able to purchase your annual CMRC license for 2016 and instantly receive your temporary license. The booth number is 4413 located in Hall Number 4. We hope to see you there.
