Fox HQ Open House:

Whenever you travel to California during the Supercross Series there are always a lot of events going on away from the track.  On the Thursday before Anaheim 3 MXP Magazine was invited to the Grand Opening of brand new Fox Head Quarters located in Irvine, California.  This building is state of the art and is home to almost 200 employee’s from all of the Fox divisions.  The building itself is huge and it has all of the bells and whistles that you’d expect from an innovative company like Fox.

As you walk through the front doors the first thing you notice is the brand new Fox Clothing Store where, by invite only a person can go an buy almost anything Fox produces.  As an added bonus for everyone invited to this party, everything in the Fox store was available at a 50% discount.  Once you pass by the store you enter the heart of the building where all of the offices and conference rooms are located.  The Fox brass said that there is music always playing in the offices but the conference rooms were all sound proof, pretty cool stuff indeed.  For this party Fox had brought in all of their team bikes such as Chad Reed’s number 22, all of the RCH team bikes were as well as the factory KTM’s of Ryan Dungey and Ken Roczen.

As we mingled through the party we notice that all of Fox athletes were there from moto, surf, Bmx and wakeboarding.  It was cool to see all of them hanging out and talking to everyone, it was very evident that everyone involved with Fox is like one big happy family.  Behind the main building, where eventually they plan to build a pit bike track and BMX pump track, there was a cool fire pit and a huge In an Out trailer where they were giving away burgers.  Yes, Fox had gone out of there way to supply everyone with the California delicacy, In an Out Burgers.  The catered In an Out Burgers was one of the coolest parts of the party, and popular as well as you could look around and see everyone from Josh Hansen to Jeff Emig eating them.FOXSTORE2

It was a great evening for everyone who attended, Fox’s new HQ is one of the coolest office buildings we have ever seen.  We must give a huge thanks to Fox for the invite to this exclusive get together.  HERE are some photos courtesy of Fox and Simon Cudby of the night’s festivities.
