Incredible Year of Racing Ahead in SWO

Canadian Motosport Racing Corporation (CMRC) is excited to release the 2014 schedule for Southwestern Ontario. New tracks, a new major sponsor, a new discipline and the most complete schedule seen in the region for a decade will make 2014 a fantastic year for CMRC racing.

Added to the seven established venues that have conducted CMRC sanctioned races for years will be Gully Mor and Panic Rev. If variety of tracks is what you’re after, SWO is the place to be because this is the first time CMRC has offered this number of tracks in the region.

CMRC is very excited to announce that Rockstar Energy Drink will be the title sponsor of the Ontario Provincial Championships. The Rockstar Energy Drink Ontario Provincial Championships will consist of seven races that will span from May to October. Large trophies for the small wheel classes will be awarded plus a host of prizes from our returning sponsors.

Included at eight rounds throughout the season will be ATV racing for all classes, which is an increase in dates compared to last season. Each round will be included in the ATV Ontario Provincial Championships. New to CMRC for this upcoming season is Vintage racing. Two classes, Vintage: 1975 and older, and Heritage Class: 1976 to 1981 (no disc brakes), will have six races to show everyone how motocrossers used to tear up the track with air cooled motors and six inches of suspension.

So as you can see, we’re in for an exciting year of racing! The season gets underway at Gopher Dunes on April 6th for an open practice. All the best in 2014!
