This past weekend Round 2 of the 2024 AMO Racing OPC Series took place at Auburn Hills Raceway in Auburn, ON. This natural terrain track features just about everything a rider could ask for. The racing on both days was outstanding as riders came from all over Ontario to compete on this challenging circuit. There was even a strong pro-rider turnout as several of our top guns were there trying to get some extra racing before the opening round of the 2024 Triple Crown Series. It was a great weekend, and Brandon Rodwell sent us these photos.
Almost every class was full this weekend and both JR classes had qualifiers. The Auburn Hills start is both exciting and safe. Chris Blackmer was back in Ontario again this past weekend and took home the win in the Pro/AM class. Some of the most exciting racing this weekend was provide by the kids. The big tunnel jump at Auburn Hills was fun to watch. The best moment in sports is the start of a dirt bike race. Young Mason Murdy is one of Ontario’s fast up and coming kids. Sebastien Racine was once again on the gas this weekend. Look for Seb to have a great summer in the Triple Crown Series. The Junior Class final was a busy place to be right off of the start. The Auburn Hills Raceway track and property are a thing of beauty! The WLTN Kawsaaki Team were there in force this weekend. The riders jump into the morning fog on Sunday.
