Here are a few images from yesterday’s opening day of the 2014 Parts Canada Amateur Motocross Grand National Walton TransCan. Racing begins today at 2:25pm with the MX2 intermediate class. Follow live results here.

Walton Raceway is well groomed and prepped for this week’s 23rd Annual Parts Canada Walton TransCan. It’s a little greasy today from some rains last night and Monday night, but things will dry out this afternoon and tomorrow.

Where sign-in takes place, hot Tim Horton’s is served and the Walton MX community gathers for various fun and games.

There’s a on-site pump track, BMX park, mountain bike trails and more to keep kids burning energy between motos.

Walton organizer Brett Lee working the mic during yesterday’s Press Conference, which featured several of the top racers at TransCan.

Just like their Supercross heroes, these kids got some time in the spotlight in front of a packed crowd.

Newf is more than determined to win another TransCan title. Too bad Jeff Alessi didn’t race, he was supposed to and it would have made for a cool showdown.

Biggest Walton ever! That’s what the entry list is showing. Most entries ever in the event’s 23 year history.
