CMS TEN FOUR Husqvarna Racing is an Off-road Motorcycle Enduro Race Team From British Columbia, Canada.
Qualicum Beach, B.C. Canada: We are pleased to announce our official 3 rider race team for the 2016 season. We are very pleased and honored to share with you that we have signed on 25 year old Campbell River native John Stevenson. Along with John the team will be bringing back the young Fraser Stewart and as well Jarrett May.
John Stevenson will be racing a Courtenay Motorsports backed Husqvarna TE 250 two stroke, Fraser Stewart will continue racing his favored Husqvarna TC 250 two stroke and Jarrett May will also stick with the bike (engine displacement) he has raced with for the past 10 years, the 250 two stroke ( Husqvarna TE 250).
Team Manager, Jarrett May on the addition of John Stevenson:
“We are very excited for this opportunity to have such a great person and rider as part of our team efforts for 2016. John brings a great level of energy, excitement, passion, competitiveness, strength and so on to our team. In one year he achieved some amazing goals of his and we would like to give him a great opportunity with our team to take the next step and achieve his next goals on his list. He is already a great role model for other fellow riders and racers. The drive he has to do his best and succeed in our sport really shows through his competitive nature. John is a fitness trainer by Profession which is one of the main reasons why he has progressed so quickly in our sport. I honestly feel he could be that missing ingredient that could take our entire team to the next level. We have rode a couple times together now and I have never met someone in racing quite like him. He is an energizer bunny on wheels! We are so very excited for the 2016 racing season to get rolling and for John to show to everyone how far hard work and determination can get you. John Stevenson on signing with Courtenay Motorsports TEN FOUR Husqvarna Racing:
“I’m super thrilled to be a part of CMS TEN FOUR Husqvarna Racing! Riding and Racing on Husqvarna’s with both Fraser and Jarrett for 2016 is going to be amazing. These two well rounded racers along with the support from our amazing sponsors is going to give me a solid opportunity to increase my skills out there on the bike next season. Having the chance to work with such a well organized team to make off road racing that much bigger is huge to me. Can’t wait to meet and bring new faces to next year’s VIHSS. I also am very excited to have the opportunity to race a few select off island PNWMA/CXCC events in 2016. Racing is fairly new to me, so I would like to experience as much as I can, it is such a great sport, can’t get enough of it!
Fraser Stewart on new teammate, John Stevenson:
“Super pumped the 2016 season is just ahead of us, it was a great adventure in 2015 being on the CMS tenfour Husqvarna racing team. this season will be even more exciting with our new teammate john! John has tons of enthusiasm for the sport, and is great mentor for me personally. his work ethic and determination to become a force in 2016 has impressed me so much. he is a great addition to the team, I am very happy to be riding beside him this season.
Fraser Stewart is back for his 2nd season on the Courtenay Motorsports TEN FOUR Husqvarna Racing Team. He has proven to be a solid rider for the team and has embraced being a sponsored rider for the first year very well. Fraser will be racing in the Expert class for all races ( VIHSS, PNWMA, CXCC).
Team Manager May on re-signing of Fraser Stewart:
“We are thrilled to have Fraser back on board with our team efforts for 2016. He has so much talent and raw speed on the bike , he is quite something to watch. It’s been great watching Fraser learn new aspects of racing over the course of the 2015 year. Being a sponsored rider has its Pros and Cons, but he has embraced the challenge and looks forward to Supporting our teams Sponsors 100% in 2016. There definitely has been challenges in 2015, but there always will be in life, and Fraser knows that. He had some adversity to deal with right from the first race when he had a unfortunate crash. He overcame that adversity and showed he has was it takes to race at this level. We as a team will work together in the offseason and get each other fully prepared and focused for the season. Fraser loves racing on two wheels, there is no doubt, it’s great to see him continue racing while enjoying every second. He really is a great kid, and deserves the support he is getting.
John Stevenson on Fraser Stewart as his 2016 teammate:
“Being able to race and train this upcoming season with Fraser Stewart as a teammate will make for a great year. Being only 18 years old Fraser is one of the fastest guys out there and it’s quite impressive. He has a solid drive to perform and I love the aggression that comes with it. His passion and the level of competition he brings at such a young age is just what we need to grow the sport of off road racing. I look forward to getting out on the bike with you FS5 and tearing up the 2016 season together!
Finally, Jarrett May will be the 3rd rider to complete our team for 2016.
May will be entering into his 12th season as an Off-road Motorcycle trail racer. May has his sights set on doing some bigger events this year along with racing the VIHSS again. May is the so called “Veteran” of the team. He hasn’t been racing for ever but from our knowledge he is one of the biggest enthusiasts of the sport. Every time we see him he is watching or doing something in relation to Motorcycles. We can’t wait to see if his baby boy gets into dirt bike riding, he could potentially be someone to watch! We are very pleased to have a smaller 3 rider team this year. With the 3 riders we have signed on we know we can accomplish some great goals and continue the push to grow this great sport here in Canada.
