Calgary, AB.CAN (June 18, 2012) – Mica Sport Canada in conjunction with SCOTT Sports would like to congratulate Bobby Kiniry and Brad Nauditt on their podiums at Calgary’s Wild Rose MX Park.
OTSFF Motorsports rider and Scott goggle athlete, Bobby Kiniry was 2-1 on the day which allowed him a MX1 1st place overall for the day. Kiniry’s 2nd moto ended in a hard fought battle which was enough to finally knock Goerke off his winning streak. Heading into Edmonton, Kiniry is sitting in 2nd place overall, just 22 points back.
After grabbing the MX2 holeshot in moto 1, a crash in the first corner allowed Brad Nauditt to take the early lead and finish in 4th. In the second moto, much like the first Brad took the second hole shot again, but ended with another 4th place.
With two consistent 4th place finishes Brad earned himself a 3rd overall for the day. The 3rd place was an all time best in Canada for Brad. He is currently sitting in 5th place in the MX2 overall points, only 4 points out of third.
At the time of release, the only comments we could get from Brad were: “The hair seems to be working so I am leaving it for the summer and I hope to be rocking a pick shortly” -#18 Brad Nauditt
“This was a great weekend for Scott athletes, Kiniry in the top spot in MX1 and Nauditt with a podium and his best finish ever in a Canadian National. Both Kiniry and Nauditt’s season have been super consistent with improving results each week” Davis Brode, Marketing Coordinator for Mica Sport Canada.
