Season Opener this weekend, Sunday April 17th at Motopark!

 It’s shaping up to be an epic weekend of racing at the Motopark this weekend. Clear skies and 20 degree temperatures are in the forecast, so finally it’s time to go racing and we’ll have perfect weather to do so.
Motopark will be open for practice on Saturday, April 16th staring at 9AM. The main track will practice from 9AM to 4PM and the mini track from 9AM to 3PM. Please make sure that your transponders are activated and fully charged. A fully charged transponder will flash green four times, a red flashing transponder requires charging. If your transponder is a solid red then it will require you to renew your transponder membership. Contact AMB at www.mylaps.com. CMRC staff will be on site at Motopark at 1:00PM on Saturday, April 16th, open for business and setting up so that you may test your transponder, ask questions or just to say hi. Also, stop by the trailer and ask for your lap times and compare them with your friends. Once practice is over we will start sign in early from 4-9 pm. So if you are going home, please sign in before you leave. Race day is Sunday, April 17th, with sign in open at 7AM. Don’t want to cook? Not to worry. Motopark Cafe is serving up the BEST steak and chicken dinner. All you need to do is pre-order on Saturday early as they do sell out. Dinner is served at 6pm. Steak/chicken and all the trimmings…can’t ask for anything better at the track. We look forward to seeing all the motocross families for a fantastic weekend of racing and fun! Motopark is located off Highway 6 south of Chatsworth, Ontario, 2 hours north of Toronto. A new CMRC Lottery has been introduced for the Ontario Provincial Championships in 2016. Every time a rider enters a class, a lottery ticket will be awarded to the rider making them eligible to win the Grand Prize. Additional tickets will be awarded to the top three finishers of each respective class (3 tickets – 1st, 2 tickets – 2nd, 1 ticket – 3rd). At the final round of the CMRC Ontario Provincial Championships presented by Royal Distributing, Saturday, August 13th, the day before the final round of the Rockstar Energy Drink MX Nationals, all lottery tickets earned will be placed in a draw box, a winning ticket will be drawn and one lucky winner will walk away with the Grand Prize designated for their respective class. A rider will only be eligible to win the Grand Prize if they attend and participate in the final round. The better you place, the more classes you enter, the more events you attend, the more chance you have to win. ANYONE CAN WIN!!!
