Everyday Riding is a Good Day

This past weekend I was able to get out to our track and ride around on my dirt bike while my brother and a bunch of other guys followed suit. It was much needed for all of us, I think, and the weather gave us perfect riding conditions.

Thank you to Zach Roth, Lance Thomson, Kyle Rice, Darius and Dorian Dueck, Teren Gerber, Zach Wilkinson and Trevor Eaton for getting me out there and having a successful day (when I say successful I mean I did not eat any dirt!). Well, almost a successful day for all of us….

Okay, so truth be told, one guy crashed and somehow his bike ended up on the other side of the fence. One guy ran out of gas because he was having too much fun and all of us missed supercross because again, we were having too much fun riding. It was a near successful day!

As for series information, I don’t have much to update with the Canadian Women’s Motocross National Series, as Kristi, Leah, and I are just trying to confirm everything. However, I do have a couple reminders for everyone.

Riding Schools: For the west, the deadline to sign up will be April 25 so we can pre-order t-shirts for everyone that signed up. The east has now confirmed they will be hosting a riding school at Gopher Dunes. Details for this will be out shortly for all those who have been patiently waiting.

T-shirt sale: We have t-shirts available in the East for $25 + shipping for anyone that is interested. Leah Clark is the one to contact for those. We also set up a t-shirt campaign here: https://www.booster.com/cdnwmxshirts. You can order a t-shirt and you can choose to ship it right to your door, or you can pick it up at any national round this summer from Leah or myself. Please share this link as we have to sell a minimum of 14 t-shirts for all of them to be printed.

Fundraising: In the west, we have women collecting bottles at all Alberta and BC races, so please drop off your bottles with them. If anyone in Saskatchewan is interested in collecting, let me know. For the east, please let Leah know if you are interested in collecting bottles. Sponsorship: For anyone interested in sponsoring the west series, or have contacted me already but haven’t sent over the sponsorship money, please do so by April 30. We need to begin confirming sponsorship so we can get the signage finalized and done before the first round in Kamloops on June 4. I encourage those that are wanting to help support the east, please consider getting into contact with Leah as soon as possible.

We are in full tilt now until June! We are a little nervous with what to expect having four rounds, but needless to say, we cannot wait to see it all unfold.
