MXP: Hey Newf! Finally, after weeks of speculation, the Honda Canada GDR Fox Racing Team announced that they have signed Dylan Rempel for 2026. Everyone at Gopher Dunes must be happy to have landed one of the most sought-after 250 riders for 2026.

RL: Yes 100% we are excited and happy to have Dylan part of the team. Crazy thing is we were really close in 2025 to making this happen but some things didn’t work in the end, and then to see the season he had, it was really an easy decision to get him in 2026. We always try and keep our team Canadian so everything made sense about this.

MXP: Let’s talk about the 2025 West Coast AX Series. We’re two weeks away from the opening gate drop, and things look to be shaping up nicely. How is everything coming from your end, and is there anything that riders need to know right now?

RL: Time is flying by that’s for sure but we are in a good place with everything. Of course there is always some last minute things that get thrown at you but overall thigs are good. I encourage people to read the “All You Need To Know”, as well as follow us on social media where we are pumping out updates etc. Our Instagram is @westcoastax, Facebook is  West Coast Arenacross. MXP: This past week, we saw several rider signings both in Canada as well as in the USA. Of the videos and photos you saw of Chase Sexton, Jorge Prado, and Eli Tomac, who do you think looks the best on their new bikes?

RL: I was shocked with how natural seeing Eli on the KTM looked. I know it’s hard to tell from a video, but man I think that’s the best he has looked in a while. He just looked like he was able to connect the bike to the ground and do it with such ease. For me, I thought this was going to be the switch that was maybe not the right move, but after seeing that I’m even more excited to see him at WSX in Vancouver here in a few weeks. When he did the switch from Kawi to Yamaha it took me a bit to get used to, but after seeing him on Orange it just seemed natural.
