
This week Triumph announced that as part of their new off-road strategy they have acquired Oset. Look for more exciting off-road and motocross news from Triumph in the near future as they break into the dirt market.

At the Hi-Point National last weekend Honda announced that they have signed Hunter Lawrence to a two-year contract extension. There are also rumours that his brother Jett might be headed to the 450 class in 2023.

One of Canada’s most talented riders Trystan Hart not only made it through the challenging 2022 Erzbergrodeo race last weekend but he also finish on the podium. It was an amazing ride by the KTM rider from BC! Congratulations Trystan!

Not even water can cool down Dylan Wright right now as he just continues to impress in the Triple Crown Series. Last weekend in Manitoba he dominated the 450 class again and will take the red plate into Round 4.

In the 250 class, Jacob Piccolo still holds the red plate after three rounds but he has lost the overall win to Mitchell Harrison in the past two races. As always this class is providing a lot of entertainment.

The Thor WMX class was very exciting in the West and in the end, it was Eve Brodeur who held off Lexi Pechout and Kaylie Kayer to win the championship.

For the past two weeks, we’ve been doing a Rider of the Week award, and this Friday the award goes to Thor/Kawasaki/Pro Circuit rider Tanner Ward who grabbed his first-ever 450 class podium last weekend in Manitoba.
