Triumph Motorcycles unveils two new additions to its ground-breaking off-road line up;
the TF 250-C and TF 450-C. Purpose-built for cross country domination, these race-ready
machines will be available in the United States, Canada, France, and New Zealand, bringing
championship-winning engineering to riders who demand performance, endurance, and
control.

Developed in collaboration with elite riders and tested across the world’s toughest terrain,
the TF 250-C and TF 450-C blend motocross DNA with cross country resilience. Designed
for riders chasing GNCC podiums or carving through technical trails, these bikes deliver the
agility, torque, and stamina to go the distance, and get there first.
Triumph’s best-in-class TF 250 and TF 450 powertrains are optimized for cross country with
three specially developed engine maps, available with the accessory MX Tune Pro Module,
refined torque delivery and race-ready durability. The tailored, lightweight chassis, premium
suspension with cross country settings and a large 2.2 US gal (8.3 liter) fuel tank, provide
even more agility and endurance. Giving racers the extra edge, top tier advanced electronics
and rider aids enhance control and confidence across changing terrain.
Triumph Motorcycles’ Chief Commercial Officer, Paul Stroud, said: “Our motocross and
enduro models have already made their mark on the global racing scene, earning podiums
and praise in their debut seasons. With the TF 250-C and TF 450-C, we’re bringing that
same competitive edge to cross country for riders in the US, Canada, France and New
Zealand. These new bikes are built to highest standards and have been through relentless
development and testing to deliver race-winning performance in the most demanding
conditions. We’re excited to see them compete at the highest level.”
Proven power tuned for the trail.
At the heart of the TF 250-C and TF 450-C are Triumph’s latest competition-developed
engines, delivering best-in-class performance and power-to-weight ratios to the cross
country segment.
Both models deliver smooth, controllable torque for technical terrain, linear power delivery
for singletrack precision and explosive acceleration for high-speed racing. Forged aluminum
pistons, DelWest titanium valves, and diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings reduce friction
and enhance durability. Lightweight magnesium covers and advanced cooling systems
ensure consistent performance under pressure, making these engines as resilient as they
are responsive.
Engineered for precision and control, the TF 250-C features a high-revving 250cc four-stroke
single producing 46.67 HP (47.3 PS) at 13,250 rpm and 20.9 lb-ft (28.3 Nm) at 9,250 rpm,
making it the agile choice for riders who thrive on technical terrain and rapid transitions.
In contrast, the TF 450-C is built for riders who demand power and stamina over long,
punishing stages. Its 450cc four-stroke single delivers 61.6 HP (62.4 PS) at 9,500 rpm and
36.8 lb-ft (49.9 Nm) at 7,000 rpm, with broader torque and high-revving performance that
dominate steep climbs and high-speed straights.

A high-capacity clutch with hard anodized basket, hydraulic Brembo calipers and master
cylinders with Galfer discs, and a five-speed gearbox with quickshifter, provide seamless
control and endurance. The narrow engine design improves brake pedal interaction, giving
riders the confidence to push harder across varied terrain.
Precision Handling
Triumph’s unique lightweight chassis is designed to deliver optimal balance, control, and
confidence across the most demanding cross country terrain. Adapted specifically for the
rigors of GNCC-style racing and long-format endurance events, the unique aluminum spine
frame features twin cradles and a lightweight construction that maximizes strength without
compromising responsiveness.
Combined with advanced suspension, refined for cross country riding and rider-focused
geometry, the chassis offers a high level of tunability to suit different rider styles and
preferences, allowing riders to push harder, ride longer, and maintain control in every
condition.
Rider-focused technology
Engineered to meet the demands of mass-start, multi-terrain cross country competition, the
TF 250-C and TF 450-C are equipped with a premium selection of components and
advanced electronics. Providing a competitive edge, both models feature app-controlled
engine management, dual engine maps, launch assist, traction control, and a quickshifter for
clutchless upshifts between second and fifth gear. These rider aids allow seamless
adaptation to changing terrain and race strategy, enhancing confidence and control
throughout every stage of the course.
Suspension performance is delivered by KYB’s renowned AOS coil system, featuring air-oil
separation for consistent damping and precise handling. D.I.D DirtStar 7000-series
aluminum rims with black anodized finish are paired with Triumph-designed lightweight hubs
and Dunlop Geomax AT82 all-terrain tires, offering exceptional grip, agility, and durability
across varied terrain.
Additional race-ready features include ODI lock-on grips, ProTaper Evo MX Alloy
handlebars, and an Exedy racing clutch for precise engagement under pressure. A Dell’Orto
1.73” (44mm) throttle body and Triumph’s ECU, developed in partnership with Athena,
optimize engine performance, while a TwinAir washable air filter simplifies maintenance.
Both models also feature 2.2 US gal (8.3L) translucent fuel tanks, enduro hand guards,
heavy-duty handguards, and side stand, completing a package built for uncompromising
cross country performance.

Dynamic off-road competitions
Cross country represents an opportunity for further growth in Triumph’s off-road program.
The GNCC Series in the US draws top talent and massive fan engagement, while Canada,
France, and New Zealand also have thriving off-road communities and competitive cross
country racing scenes.
One of the most demanding and dynamic off-road disciplines, cross country combines high-
speed aggression with technical precision across natural terrain like forests, fields, and hills.
With a strong emphasis on endurance, it challenges riders to adapt to constantly changing
conditions over long distances. The launch of the TF 250-C and TF 450-C in these markets
reflects Triumph’s commitment to supporting riders with purpose-built machines that meet
the demands of this exhilarating sport.
