Parts Canada Husqvarna Motorcycles’s Tyler Medaglia started the season with an amazing finish of 3rd overall in the MX1 class on Sunday at the first round of the 2015 Rockstar CMRC Canadian Nationals. Tyler also claimed the first holeshot of the season in his first moto putting the Husqvarna out front and leading the first several laps of the race. The hot and dusty conditions in Kamloops proved to be tiring for many riders but Tyler’s ability to adapt on the track and his dedication to training over the winter months clearly paid off earning him a 4th place finish in the first moto of the day, and a 2nd place finish in the second moto of the day. When asked about the difficult conditions, a relaxed and happy Tyler answered “Conditions were tough but I felt good, my FC450 fits me perfectly and my suspension is dialed in. Everything went nice and smooth!”
Tyler made a statement by putting his Husqvarna on the podium at the season opener and earned valuable championship points in the Canadian National Series where he now sits in third position. The next stop in the Rockstar CMRC Nationals is Naniamo, British Columbia this weekend where Tyler plans to keep the momentum going and will strive for another clean and solid finish aboard his Parts Canada Husqvarna FC450.
