Coming into the opening round of the 2017 Rockstar Energy Drink MX Nationals in Kamloops, there was obviously a lot of anticipation surrounding the start of this incredible series. This season marks 25 years awesome years of the CMRC Nationals and if the racing at round 1 was any indication, this summer could be one of the most entertaining we’ve ever seen. On Sunday, it was veteran riders Christophe Pourcel and Shawn Maffenbeier who drew the first blood in the MX1 and MX2 classes.
