After injuring his knee in a first turn crash at the Montreal SX back in September, Jess Pettis has spent the past ten months rehabbing that knee and getting his body stronger. This past weekend at Gopher Dunes it was obvious that all of his hard work had paid off as he not only took the overall win in the 250MX class, but he did so in dominating fashion, winning all three motos. It was an amazing performance and it was made that much more challenging with the extreme heat and the rough Gopher Dunes track. Now the riders get a week off before the 2020 Triple Crown Series resumes at Walton Raceway on August 8th. We caught up with Pettis in the hours after his final 250MX moto on Sunday to get his thoughts on his big win.
