With perfect weather and multiple events on Friday, Saturday and Sunday we’d most certainly say that the WaltonOne Canada Day long weekend was a big success.

Although we knew Josiah Natzke would be fast we didn’t quite figure on the Kiwi coming to Walton Raceway and winning the 250 class OA. Congrats to Josiah and his PRMX Team.

Unfortunately, there were a few injuries at Round 4 and one of the most serious was to MX101 Yamaha rider Austin Jones who suffered a broken femur in the final 250 moto. Heal up soon Austin!

After winning the 250 class at Round 2 and 3 Mitchell Harrison not only won the final moto at Round 4 after an incredible battle, but he also grabbed the red plate from Jacob Piccolo.

With this weekend being the famous Southwick National in the USA here is a great photo of the track crew. All of these legends have raced and won in Canada and it’s great to see them still hanging out.

Last weekend the Red Bud National took place in Michigan and it was great to see all of the fans back and to see Japanese rider Jo Shimoda take his first-ever national win in the USA.

Don’t look now but Ontario rider Quinn Amyotte keeps getting better and better in the 2022 Triple Crown Series. At Round 4 last weekend he finished third in the opening 250 moto!

Who is ready to play in the sand this weekend? No, we’re not going to the beach we’re heading to Gopher Dunes for Round 5 of the Triple Crown Series and the toughest race on the planet. Good luck everyone!

Each week we’ve been doing a Rider of the Week and this Friday we’ve chosen young Ontario rider Preston Masciangelo after his solid 10-8-7 moto score for 8th OA in the 250 class at Round 4.
